All About the Early Childhood Center…

We inspire curiosity, independence and a life-long love of learning while fostering a community of kindness and respect.

• We are a part of the Hannibal Public School District
• We are located on Veterans Road between Veterans School and the blue water tower
• We serve students 3-5 years old
• Our programs are Title Preschool and Early Childhood Special Education
  • Students in our Title Preschool have a delay in one or more developmental area
    • These delays are determined through the DIAL-4 Screening
    • A screening in our building does not guarantee placement in our program
    • Students with the highest needs are placed first
    • Title students must be potty trained to attend our program
  • Students in Early Childhood Special Education qualify for special services and have an IEP (Individualized Education Program) with specific goals tailored to meet their needs. 
• Both of these programs are half day programs.  Our morning students attend 8:10-11:10 and our afternoon students attend 12:10-3:10
• We place students in our programs throughout the school year
